Non-stop in 'Besos Fumados'

It's been long since I didn't write about the latest news in 'Besos Fumados' (Stoned Kissed). Seeing that lately I'm in non-stop mode, it was about time that I've told you about the things we've planned for the future.

What is 'Besos Fumados' (Stoned Kissed) about?

Chusa and her cousin Jaimito survive the last throes of Madrid's 'Movida' in a sadder and more mature city. Chusa is a cheerful artist who goes down to Morocco: she travels to the country, buys hashish occulting it in her intimate areas and then sells it in Lavapiés. Her cousin, Jaimito, is a tort artisan who makes and sells sandals in 'el Rastro,' and helps her to sell the drugs. Both cousins live with Alberto, Jaimito's best friend and Chusa's boyfriend, who's also an agent of the National Police.

One day, Chusa meets and takes home Elena, a high-class family young girl who has fled home and her mother. Elena wants to live Chusa's hippie life and, to do that, she will join Chusa in "going down to Morocco" in her following trip. Alberto and Jaimito disagree, but Chusa needs Elena to bring more drugs. The problem lies in Elena's virginity, so she can't become a drug mule. Given this situation, Chusa will look desperately for someone who takes her new friend's virginity off, though this will include her own boyfriend, the policeman.

As I've told you in another post, 'Besos Fumados' has been selected and still in Cafè-Teatre Llantiol's billboard each Thursday at 22.30 (C/Riereta, 7). It's been a couple of weeks since we've been staging our singular terrace in 80s Lavapiés and every day the audiences like the play more and more. For the time being, we're still programmed every Thursday at 22.30h in Llantiol, tickets cost 10€ in the box office and 8€ if you book them by clicking on these links.

Furthermore, only this weekend, we have an overdose of 'Besos Fumados.' On the 10th and 11th of June we will move (temporarily) our Lavapiés' little terrace to Sabadell, to Sabadell's Teatre L'Alternativa (C/Marià Aguiló, 22). We will perform there on Friday the 10th at 22h and on Saturday the 11th at the same time, so the people from Sabadell or its outskirts who have problems on coming to Barcelona on Thursday nights can enjoy this play with tickets costing 10€. It will be a unique chance that you cannot miss, theatre seats are reduced (50 seats in total), so if you're going to come it is best to book in advance it to ensure your seat. To book your tickets, you only have to send an e-mail to cialameridiana@gmail.com stating the following information.

- Name and surname

- Number of companions (Without counting oneself)

- Day of the show (10/6 at 22h | 11/6 at 22h)
