It's official! 'Gente Nocturna' (Nocturnals) has its premiere date next 2019. The premiere will take place on the 21st of March 2019 within X Festival MUTIS under the spotlights of Cafè-Teatre Llantiol. Don't let others tell you, come and drink a toast with us in our little dark bar!

What is 'Gente Nocturna' (Nocturnals) about?

Once upon a Saturday night in a gloomy and silent bar…

Max y Otto are two bohemian drunkards who waste their cold Saturday nights drinking, maybe to forget or maybe to remember. Max is an unsuccessful writer who has quit writing, but not drinking. Otto is a pianist in love who wants to quit drinking, bars, and his cynical friend.

As a modern-day Falstaff, Max fears that now that Otto has fallen in love, he might abandon him on their Saturday rituals. When everything seems lost for Max, the woman who once gave a sense to his life will return, the singer Cora, whose trace was lost five years ago...

In this play, I will embody Otto, a binge-drinking constant companion of Max who will start rethinking if love and drinking are compatible. If you want to learn more about him, I will reveal some strokes about him in later posts during these months of wait, since you always promise me that you will come to meet him personally in the play's premiere and watch him on stage.

Take note, 'Gente Nocturna' (Nocturnals) is seen to be premiered, if circumstances allow us, next Thursday the 21st of March 2019 at 21h in Cafè-Teatre Llantiol (Carrer Riereta, 7) under the auspice of X Festival MUTIS.
